Your dream is becoming Parisian?!
"I'm the dog, Pierre. Woof…
My dream is to live by myself in beloved France!
I'm enamored with gay Paris! Woof..."
-Toro! Let's Party! trophy description
Pierre Yamamoto (山本ピエール) is a brown dog, and a Francophile. He is of French-Japanese heritage, and interested in other world cultures as well, even knowing multiple languages, primarily French which he will speak quite frequently. He's been in most of the Doko Demo Issyo games, and introduced global topics on Mainichi Issho and Weekly Toro Station.
Pierre is dreamer, known to fall into a romantic kind of melancholy, and longs for an independent life of passion in Paris. However, his parents treat him as someone who can't live on their own, due to Pierre's lack of experience in independent living: he has particular difficulties doing things on his own, which just makes him more determined to become more independent.
Pierre is fairly flamboyant in much of his mannerisms and has a fairly feminine way of speaking, and despite his desire for a single life he is also romantic and tends to be flirtatious, with his dialogue occasionally being sexual in nature, he has no preference in gender either.
Among his talents are tarot card reading and cooking. He is also interested in psychology tests and fortune telling; his interest of these makes him appear nosey at times, especially when he is asking his friends to let him look into their love life with his predictions. Pierre also loves fashion and likes to talk about the latest trends, whether it be clothes or make-up; he has a feminine sense of style.
In extension of his cooking skills, Pierre is also knowledgeable of herbs and spices, not only of their use in the kitchen but also their homeopathic qualities. He has a unique relationship with gender, and is referred to with both he/him and she/her pronouns, implying he is genderfluid. In an episode of Weekly Toro Station, she also plays the role of a fujoshi as well.
He often displays feminine traits, such as referring to himself as a "damsel" in Toro! Let's Party! and a "maiden" in Toro and Friends: Onsen Town, after being asked by Sora what his gender is, being quick to remind him that gender is simply a social construct in the English version of the game.
