A duck, as seen in Toro and Friends: Onsen Town
Ducks are birds that appeared in the Doko Demo Issyo series. They resemble brown mallard ducks. Ducks appear in certain levels in Toro and Friends: Onsen Town, starting at level 48.
Ducks may be present on the game board in a space normally occupied by a fruit. Clearing fruits and obstacles below these ducks will cause them to fall downward, and they will exit the game board upon reaching the bottom.
Stages with ducks typically have the goal of freeing a certain number in this manner. Sora notes that these ducks seem lost, and urges player to be nice to them. A duck is also featured in an unlockable profile icon.
