Being mascots for the PlayStation brand, characters from the Doko Demo Issyo series have made a wide variety of crossover appearances in games on PlayStation platforms. Article on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Wiki: Toro Inoue, Together Everywhere! (Doko Demo Issyo)

Doko Demo Issyo was one of the franchises represented in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, a crossover platform fighter featuring first and third party characters on PlayStation systems. This most notably took the form of Toro appearing as a playable fighter, with a stance-changing moveset largely based on costumes he wore in TORO! Let's Party!. In a way, this makes him the character with the most costumes, as each selectable costume comes as three for all of his forms. Kuro also appears as one of Toro's Super Moves, and he and Pierre appear as a minion. His rival is Heihachi Mishima from the Tekken franchise, with whom continuity is established from their appearance in Street Fighter X Tekken.

Kuro was supposed to be a playable fighter with a similar moveset to Toro but got scrapped assumingly because of Cole and Evil Cole.
